Born in istanbul 1971, having completed of high college in izmir.has studied English language and literature at the Bilkent universıty and graduated with honours degree. After her graduate,she started working in advertisment business and worked for 8 years in several advertisement and pr agencies.by that time she started studying fashion design at lasalle academy istanbul .After that she decided to move to milan/italy to study fashion design at istituto marangoni and completed with honours degree.then she did her internship in some italian brands.afterwards,she worked as a styling assistant in one of the leadıng fashion magazines of italy, mood.she created her first collection as underwear and clubbing wear and launched it with her sister in london olimpia fair. She has been selected to study masters in fashion design at the politecnico supported by european community as an only foreigner.after graduating she started working for one of the most importan italian brands C’N’C COSTUME NATIONAL.she worked in maison for 4 years.and had the chance to work with the creator and artistic director of COSTUME NATIONAL Ennio capasa and Vito dell’erba who was the creative director by that time and is the former creative director of Givenchy mens wear .she played an important role in the creative process of 2005 f/w costume national collection to name it istanbul and making fabric designs for the show. Her concept that has been created ‘fashion Animals’has been used for many years. And found one of the most powerful concept among the street wear brands. She decided to move back to her home town istanbul 3 years ago to create her own brand. She started to work as head of fashıon design at hey textile.and she has been designing since for many big names in europe, from france to italy,spain and sweden.At the same time she is an instructor at the ITU university -FIT(fashion institute of technology new york) giving Fashion art and design lessons. She launched her collection in 2009 may LUG VON SIGA.and participated to galata fashion days for 3 times since. The collection takes place in showroom in Paris and Milan and aiming to launch it in tokyo and new york.
